Please vote for her here: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.contest&contest=234&entry=248

The voting period ends the 27th of April, 2008.

Big B Radio has the following information on Ailah:

Hip-hop/ R&B Singer/Songwriter Ailah, is a native New Yorker currently hailing from Beantown. Until recently, Ailah performed and was known to supporters by her birth name, Sophia Moon. The evolution and maturation from Sophia Moon to Ailah represents the creativity, music, and energy taking a new shape on a new level. For years, Ailah played the dutiful daughter - studying and working hard to achieve success defined by her immigrant parents and their generation. Top of her class; President of the National Honor Society; Miss Teen New York State 1997; Recipient of full four year Posse scholarship to Brandeis University; Americorp volunteer; Miss Eastern Massachusetts 2002 - are among many of her shiny accomplishments. But, all that glitters truly isn't gold. Through strong discouragement from parents, Ailah suppressed her love for music never letting it surpass a hobby and despite all the achievements, discontent grew until exactly a year ago, November of 2005 Ailah had reached rock bottom. She realized how unhappy she was so she made the decision to pursue her music at a professional level despite increasing disapproval from her family - a dream she held close to her heart since the age of nine.

Ailah was fortunate at the time, to meet Shin her current producer and confidant. He urged her to keep her focus when opposition in the form of work, responsibility and obligations overwhelmed her. For almost a year now, Ailah has worked with Shin and Sean (partner producers) with A-Rex Productions to develop a unique but mainstream concept and to record top-notch quality songs. At the moment, constant improvement and growth as an artist and individual are most important to Ailah. With the love of existing supporters and those who are just being introduced to the sounds of Ailah coupled with a whole lot of hard work on her part, Ailah could be the first Asian American female to hit the mainstream Hip-Hop/R&B scene. Stay on the look out and show support!

Personally, I think she has a lot of potential. And the other contestants, well... let's just say they need some work.

Sincerely,
Mystik
