a.k.a. Vancouver Trip 2008.

Featuring:
- Pvenkman
- Quantum
- Mystik
- and Mizu (Host)

In the summer of 2008 (2nd-6th of July), Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik set upon a journey to travel through to the farthest reaches of the planet in order to meet a familiar-yet-unfamiliar face: Mizu.

Day One - 2nd of July - "One Second"

On the first day, Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik arrived at Vancouver International Airport with little idea of where they are and how to get to their hotel. It was a dark night, with lots of clouds and a touch of rain. They managed to squeeze through the Canadian Customs service after being bombarded with a storm of questions. Fortunately for them, they whistled for a cab, and when it came near, the licence plate said "Fresh" and it had dice in the mirror. They arrived at their lodging, having seen a glimpse of the city and learning a new hand gesture. With the few hours of the night left in this new city, they headed out and walked around the area. Exploring through the local sights, they decided to settle down for a "quick" midnight snack at the Golden Train Express Pho Restaurant. Little do they know, the teenage waiter/busboy, who was the only one working at that shift, enjoyed making people wait with ridiculous "one second" statements (which translated to 20 minutes of waiting) and a constant loop of Flo Rida's "In The Ayer" blasting in the restaurant's background the entire time. In the end, the pho was okay for a restaurant that's opened 24 hours.

Day Two - 3rd of July - "Meeting Mizu"

On the second day of their adventure, Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik finally meets the (in)famous Mizu. She instructed them to meet them at 10:30 in front of their hotel accomodation; however, they were late due to some... "errands" they did earlier in the day. After exchanging hi's and hugs, they headed out to Honolulu Cafe, where they enjoyed a Hong Kong-styled setting breakfast. They then took the SkyTrain to the largest mall complex in the area, Metropolis at Metrotown. Inside the mall, Mizu gave them a tour of the confusing place as well as raced Mystik, Pvenkman, and Quantum in Maximum Tune 3. They explored many of the mall's greatest attractions, including Superstore, and places where Mizu works/used-to-work at. And Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik being American, they tried poutine for the first time. They then met up with Mizu's honey, Jason, and explored through some of Vancouver's areas, including E. Hastings (dun dun dun). Mizu and Jason dropped the guys off around the Burrard area while the two love birds went out for a fancy dinner in celebration of Mizu's birthday. The guys walked around and took the SeaBus to North Vancouver, seeing some sights and PYTs along the way. Afterwards, they went to Metropolis at Metrotown again so that Mystik can Tune again. Little do they know, they found the "one second" waiter/busboy at the arcade waiting to play Tune as well. They returned to their lodging area and walked around a bit. Coincidentally, they found Mizu and Jason along with some friends at the Honolulu Cafe that evening.

Day Three - 4th of July - "Thunder Thighs"

On the third day, Mizu & Jason met up with Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik at their lodging and proceeded to have dim sum. After filling up their stomachs, they proceeded to go to a BC Liquor Store nearby, which isn't that bad except for the fact that that's the only place you can buy alcohol in all of BC (that's right, no booze in 7-11 or Safeway). They then proceeded to go to Science World, but missed an exit in the process and drove to North Vancouver before driving back. Mizu took over the driving of the car at that point while Jason passed out. Science World was fun and interesting. They all had all-you-can-eat sushi afterwards and went to Circuit Circus to Tune for a while. After Tuning, they went to hang out at "Zephyr in the Sky", playing a weird version of the card game "Bullshit." Interestingly enough, Pvenkman caught the eye of one of the restaurant's waitress'. She kept leaning in towards his direction and paid extra attention to him and his order. She had this short skirt on and interesting thighs that everyone called her "thunder thighs." Later on, Pvenkman admitted that she has a nice body. Not bad. That was the last time that Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik saw of Mizu.

Day Four - 5th of July - "I Made It"

Mizu was unable to attend that particular day's events with the guys, but they had fun. They took the SkyTrain in the morning to the Burrard area and ventured into the Vancouver Art Gallery for their "Krazy" exhibit on Comics+Cartoons+Anime+Video Games. Afterwards, they went to North Vancouver again to drop by the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was quite amazing and they managed to earn a certificate proclaiming their bragging rights for crossing the bridge ("I made it."). After the bridge, they decided to drop by one of Canada's famous restaurants, Tim Horton's (a.k.a. Timmy Ho's). Afterwards, they wanted to visit Chinatown and, fortunately for them, they stumpled upon the Chinatown Night Market. The night ended with a stop by a pub, with Mystik drinking legally for the first time. (Thanks for the drinks again, Pvenkman and Quantum.)

Day Five - 6th of July - "Goodbye, For Now"

In their last day, Pvenkman, Quantum, and Mystik had a Korean lunch at a nearby location and proceeded to their way to the airport after eating. It was a bright yet gloomy day for some reason. Maybe it's because it'll be a long time before they visited again. Who knows. Winter games 2010, anyone? :)
